Hi!

Blinking lights = decoder overload.

Probably smoke generator not pushed in all the way and now the lid that should touch the tip of the smoke generator now causes a short circuit on the board.

Tom

Yes - overload.

If you do not adjust the copperplate/lid then you will push the hole unit forward and it will hit the ground/ chassis. Blinking light.

As I cannot push the generator more up I put a small tape in front of the connection plate so it do not hit the chassis. Not the best solution from M, they could isolated the plate in the front.

Thank you for your help Gentlemen. BigGrin

Hi again.

After a correct installation of the smoke unit there is no overload and blinking light. I have been running it a lot, nice loc.

But, yes I have a question, in the last weeks it have become a strange behavior.

When I turn the layout(CS2) on it start to smoke, to stop it I have to turn on a function, anyone, it does not matter. I can turn off the current to the track and turn it on again, everything is normal, no smoking. It is only when I turn the CS2 on it start to smoke. In normal it works perfect with all functions. I have reset the decoder but it have the same behavior.

I have 2 MS connected to the CS2.

For me it look like the smokefunction is in analog untill I send a digital command to the decoder. No other function turn on by them selves, only the smoke.

Could please somebody give me an advice?

Funny: In the start of this tread I have no smoke and now, I have too much BigGrin

Thanks.

Torstein
