Hi guys, I was doing some spring cleaning when I can across an old train model, if memory serves me right I was given this by a German friend back in 1997. In all honesty I never really got into model trains and because of such it is still inside it's box and unused.

It seems to be a whole kit, train, carriages and a whole lope of rail with remote control unit. I will attach some pictures below.

If any expert here could give me a bit of history and an idea of the collect-ability of this particular model, it would be much appreciated.

Once again, on the box it says Marklin HO and it seems to have the model(?) number of 29501.

Here are some pictures.

It is a nice litlle starter set. This is not something special and collectable, but for us here in this forum all the trains are beloved. You have a great chance to make a start with our hobby.

As foumaro says, this is a complete standard start set that you can assemble & run if you like... Try to do that at least once... Wink

It's not of any "collectible" value, but of great "playing" value instead since it is not the smallest start set in the range, but rather a notch above that since it has turnouts too...

It is not a "digital" set (as most new ones are nowadays...) but a plain honest sturdy set with a variable AC transformer as the control.
