I have a couple of engines that wobble a little. I suspect one of the wheels is misaligned or perhaps an axle is bent.

Anyone have a trick to help ID which one it is short of taking them all off the frame and individually letting them roll on the track? It's not terrible, just terribly anoying. The engines, specifically, are a 3049 E04 and 3098 BR38 steam, neither particularly heavy in their own right.

Hi Peter why don't you try running locos upside down on a test bench. just connect red wire to slider and brown to frame. then you can properly see which wheele is the problem.biggrin
