Dear Friends, my trix 22763 MaK loco, has the following problem:

When the direction of travel is reversed, the loco does not obey the input and stays stationary. There is little sound and movement coming from the loco and with the help of a little nudge by hand, starts gently then accelerates to the inputted speed. I have fixed an ESU 8-pin digital decoder to enable it to run in DCC and be controlled by the 60214 central station... I wonder what causes this. I have lubricated the loco and i used only very little oil. The loco makes a very faint operating sound. When it runs, it runs smoothly and consistently and obeys the speed inputs faithfully. The problem is with direction reversal only...I suspect some decoder anomaly. Any ideas?
