Recently I bought a box of assorted old trains, which included an old Jouef 4 wheel bogie locomotive, without a body.
I had never seen a full brass mechanism driving one bogie through crown and pinion drive.
Without any clean up,it went well on my HO Layout.
A friend from my AMRA Qld.Club brought me an old Jouef Catalogue, but I cannot see the same bogies on any of the illustrated diesel or electric 4 wheel locos. It measure about 150mm long, and the brass wheels are very large.
I do not know how to send a photo for your inspection.
Any ideas please, for this mystery loco or how to send photos ?
Thanks Owen

It may be a SNCF 67001.

I guess that Jouef used this system in many locos at that era.

I would also like to see this drive system, and the Loco. The only brass drive I've seen similar is of the Sagami powered TNT Sydney Harbour monorail model.
