Hello all,

Do any forum members have rp25 wheelsets for the Trix American freight cars they'd like to part with? Very difficult to find here in the US.

Will pay a fair price.

Thanks, Joe

Hi Joe,

I do not have TRIX RP25 wheel sets as I do not model US railways. I do have TRIX 2-rail DC wheel sets available that I have removed from wagons and coaches and replaced with TRIX Express wheel sets. The new TRIX 2-rail DC wheel sets will work with the new TRIX C-track.

Let me know if you want any.

Have you check after in Trix homepage in USA...?

Try this:www.minitrix.de and click at the US flag on the leftside down.

Good luck...!

Hi Goofy,

Thanks for the info. One can only purchase certain items from the TRIX trains USA website. You cannot purchase wheel sets or other necessary spares. Since TRIX is owned by Maerklin now the New Berlin, Wisconsin address is the same as for Maerklin USA.

As far as I am aware, Walthers, now supplies the Maerklin/TRIX items to the dealers and not the offices in New Berlin. I am sure that if Joe calls Helmuts Hobby Specialties, Reynaulds, Eurorailhobbies or any other US dealer they could get the RP 25 wheel sets he needs. I have spare TRIX 2-rail DC wheel sets available so if Joe wants a few I can easily spare them.

Hi Marco,

Herr Luck is a super source for wheel sets. Great suggestion! He does accept payment via PayPal for those outside of Europe.
