Hi Team.

I have some wagons that I cannot get a product number for even after researching Helmut Kern's web site at:
http://www.hfkern.gmxhome.de/index.html

They are:

El-u 061. Gondola / Guterwagen offen 20 80 510 2 381-9
Weathered c/w coal load.

El-u 061. Gondola / Guterwagen offen 20 80 510 2 382-7
Weathered c/w coal load.

These are the equivalent to the 4431 wagons but being factory weathered I assume they have a different M* number.

And:

E040. Gondola / Guterwagen offen 01 80 507 6 242-8.
Raised superstructure. Weathered c/w coal load.

I have this listed as a 4465 but cannot find a reference regarding the superstructure & factory weathering.

Can anyone help?

Cheers
Tony

The two are from most starter set 29145,29530,29531,29146,29175,29176,2950,2960,2905,2907,2915, and 2916.

I think it is not from factory weathered. The someone or owner of wagons add making the coal load and weathered.

Marco - I'll get some pics this week.
Steven - Thanks for the information.

All three are weathered very nicely indeed.
Pics as soon as I can.

Bingo Steve, these are 'owner' weathers, and I can tell because it is a bad job of an India Ink wash weathering,Egad!
