Good Afternoon Everyone

I am in the process of building a brand new layout.
I want a single line that was 2 rail so I purchased some Trix track.
All brand new from Lippe
However today after I assembled my track I found one 4Th radius piece causing a short.
All other pieces work perfectly
I don't want the hassle of returning it
Is there a fix ?
It's a Trix 4th radius curve

Thank you so much

Hi!

When Trix C track is made, the rails are electrically connected. Usually this connection is cut at the factory. But sometimes they forget about it.

If that is the issue, then you can simply cut a small bridge that electrically connects both rails. This bridge should have been cut with all your working C track pieces.

Here is a piece of Märklin C track where I cut that bridge (red circle).

You have to check those small bridges at both ends.
