Is it the end supports of the containers, or a part of the wagen?

Where exactly did you come across this term? Was it in English or in another language?

I found it. A drive or axle load whereas half of the weight is carried by the axle and the rest by the bogie frame.

We are not talking about "Nose supported container wagon", we are talking about the Siemens ES 64 F locomotive class and its "nose-suspended traction motors."

Yes, I guess "I" was! The catalog was misleading by showing the container wagons. My initial search I omitted the word drive.

The catalogue shows the locomotive and refers to its propulsion system. It shows the loco with some container cars.

The German catalog says "Tatzlager-Antrieb im Güterverkehr", referring to the design of the BR 152

my first thought was that it was some kind of "nose" to put on the container to reduce drag during transport on rail.......

Eg something like this:

It wasn't clear, which is why I asked for a model number, so I could see where the reference came from.
