Most members will be aware of the Marklin Digital Newsletters that were published by Marklin USA and written by Dr Tom Catherall. Since Dr Tom's passing, there has been no newsletters, but Marklin USA have now released a new edition (Vol 27.1) which is written by new Marklin USA Digital Consultants Curtis Jeung and Rick Sinclair.

The previous newsletters were available only by paid subscription, but Marklin USA have advised that due to the lapse in publishing the newsletter they will no longer charge for the Digital Club membership. Also, beginning with this issue, Marklin USA will only be distributing the Digital Newsletter via e-mail.

I've attached to this post the pdf copy of the Vol 27.1 newsletter.

Digital Newsletter 8-15 Vol 27.1.pdf (464kb) downloaded 553 time(s).

I have been a member the last few years and looking forward to getting the newsletters again.

As far as I know no other model train manufactures does something similar? Add that with the Marklin phone service desk I actually think the service level generally is high.

Shane I wont send your name to Brenda in the US, she might be after some one's hide when she gets back from sick leave & finds she has to enrol 700 odd people into the Digital newsletter data base by hand .

Yes I have enrolled also , shame the present newsletter dose not cover the CS1stuff also .

Cheers Tom in Oz

All in the same day - Marklin Digital newsletter for free, and Windows 10 upgrade for free.

Has the world gone mad??

There's a symmetry here, I got into Digital around the same time I finally weaned myself off my Amiga and took the plunge into Windows. I've never looked back on either but alas, I just can't bring myself to drop around a cool grand (+/-) on a CS2.

But then again, I don't have an i7 either. It would be an overkill for my home PC needs.

I have stacks of former SIG Newsletters from my earlier subscription days through the 90's and as others have said, I enjoy flicking through the back-issues from time to time.

Hi All,

I recently subscribed to the digital newsletter following the link posted by Shamu, but I'm looking for "Marklin Digital Newsletter" Vol 27-No 2 that I presume was sent some months ago. Is there anyone who can kindly send me a copy by PM or by email?

Thank you, regards.
