Hi to all !!!

I am back again with new request.

I am trying to place in my playroom one straight track with 1 scale marklin analog train. My request is how I can do train change automatically the direction every time which reach at the end of the track?

As you unserstand is difficult to make 1 scale plan in a room. This is the reason which I have only a 4.5 meters track.[V]

Hi!

Use a Märklin relay and a contact-track to change the polarity, then the train will change direction automatically at the end of the track.

Do you mean the marklin 7244? If yes! Could you please give me the wiring?

I would also like to see a wiring diagram for this please.
There are units which can be bought which will delay the time before starting again but the only one I have seen is German made (no problem there) but I think only comes with German instructions (not so good)

I have several relays and "schaltverzögerungsbausteine" (they delay an impulse) from Uhlenbrock, and they are not hard to wire, they come with a nice diagram.

Since there are no contact-tracks for spur1 you will have to use a reed-contact or some other means to detect the moving train. Use a 7544 relay to switch polarity. If you want to make the train to stay a moment or two before reversing you will need two 7244 and device to delay the impulse from the reed-contact in each end. The impulse turns the power supplied by the first 7244 off. The same impulse is led to the delay-device which delays the impulse before its being sent to the second 7244 with reverse polarity which turns the power on.

Uhlenbrock "schaltverzögerungsbausteine" is easy to hook up. The yellow and brown wires go in the middle and one blue wire (input and output) on each side. You wire the 7244 like a normal signal: One yellow wire to the trafo and two blue wires to a switch of some kind.

Thanks Martin. I will have a look at the Uhlenbrock stuff.

???????? Analog 1 Gauge trains are usually not DC.

They have to be supplied shortly with a higher voltage to change direction, just like analog H0.

Have a look here: https://www.marklin-user...chTerms=change,direction

I think most if not all of the current Gauge 1 range can be adjusted to run on DC - on some you need to change the circuit board, on others the electronics will sense DC and change automatically

You are right; but then marklinologos will have to find an other powersupply for DC.

P.S.: Which model are we taking about?

If he chooses the other solution he will have to search for a 24V AC trafo.
