Converting Märklin SJ Type D to digital with different conversion sets

Märklin have made several different models of this beautiful locomotive, initially numbered 3170. See the table below the photos.

I think that the chassis in Märklin models 3170, 3171, 3670 and from the sets 2670 and 2870 (SJ type D, wooden body) basically is the same as in Märklin 3018, 3019 and 3030 (SJ type Da, steel body)
