Märklin 42166:

This coach set was released with the summer news 2005, not produced anymore.

Inside the box:

All the cars are individually packed, Length = 79,5 cm. Individual car length approx 26 cm.

Märklin 42166-001, SBB EW IV A 50 85 10-95 103-3, 1. class

Märklin 42166-002, SBB EW IV B 50 85 21-95 084-2, 1. + 2. class

Märklin 42166-003, SBB EW IV B 50 85 21-95 103-3, 2. class

All three cars have different appearance on the two sides.

These three cars make a nice addition to the 42166 coach set:

L = 26,4 cm.

Märklin 4365, SBB Apm 61 85 19-90 103-6 panorama car 1. class

L = 26,7 cm.

Märklin 42178 SBB EW IV Bt 50 85 28-94 904-5  Express train cab control car

L = 27,5 cm.
This car is currently under rebuild to digital control with a Märklin 60961 function decoder and a relay, including driver's cab interior light, so the cab interior and the body is not installed yet.  The relay will supply the other coaches with current for interior light via current conducting couplers.
New photo and report will follow when the work is finished.
