I presume the layout is off to the left.

Pity he has to reverse the trains out though, it begs for an exit helix on the other side....

Yeah that would give it some symmetry... I was also thinking that a whole line of LEDs for lighting on each level would look really effective too..

How about this for the ultimate double-helix-off-layout-staging-yard-display ?

Abolutely great! And it is built in R1 (to his regret, he writes, so is now planning an extra R2 for going up). And the idea was from the FD!
I definitely want something like this!
