Does somebody else have this crane?

We got ours last week and it is f a n t a s t i c.

My son (8) loves to move wood stacks and even our little black Köf shunter around. The controls are very precise (maybe except the rotation, which is a bit fast...).Detailing is great and it simply looks magnificent when in operation on the layout!

A must have?

Cheers,
Arthur

I have one from ebay a while back, but no instruction booklet.
I needs some repairs to one of the flatcars (broken coupler mount) - nothing major.

Doe anyone here who has one have a way to scan and e-mail me a copy of the english section of the instruction booklet? and exploded view drawing if there is one
thanks in advance

Let me check if I have an English section in my manual and what it contains. I'll get back to you tonight...

I enjoyed that video, thanks

One question, how does the crane run in the curves if the head
of the crane is sitted on the front waggon?

The crane has to be lifted in that case?

I would have thought that Marklin would have made the mechanism to rotate the crane so that it can swivel when negotiating curves. I know the smaller digital crane can - I have one of those and it will go around anything with the jib resting on the carrier wagon.

I wish I had the space and money to buy one a Goliath!

The crane runs around any 360mm curve. It swivels fine so that the front of the arm can remain on the car. Just needs some space on the curve's inside.

Ok - I checked. The manual is multi-lingual, including English. But it has no exploded drawing, just instructions on how to operate, how to oil, change the pick-up, change the address... Nothing one couldn't figure out without manual. You want it anyway?

Yes, thanks. I just assumed they might have an exploded view drawing.

When I saw similar cranes operate in 1:1, they were usually pulled by a V100 or a V65. It was the greatest thing when my Dad (who worked for DB) took me along and let me ride in the loco or the crane...

I think that a V290 EP IV, marklin 37900 is so fine.

David.
