Thanx so much for the info Steven....it is a great help!
Do you know when/if? Marklin will have the 39230 in stock? Lokshop has it as "ordered", but Marklin have no stock?
Seems a great loco, judging by your review - except for sensitivity to dirt on the track, causing stalling, as some forum members have commented a while back?

Hello Joe all,
I have this magnificent model and can report similar happenings on the first run on our modular layout that hadn't been used for a while last December, only mine didn't stall just the running sounds were interupted, and one of our guys ( another Steven !Huh )hijacked it with Touchcab which left the whistle turned on and that kept sounding on and off around the layout LOL
I think its got one of the best sound decoders, one of Marklin"s new ones ThumpUp , of all my Dampfloks BigGrin
Oh and thanks Steven for the new items delivery list, great work ThumpUp

That will most likely be because the initial shipmment/production run has left the factory, bound for dealers, and is therefore 'not in stock' at the factory. Watch for another production run later on.

Nice packaging! Can´t wait to get mine. I ordered it as soon as I heard of it in this forum. I´m interested in the 37629... but... short of... money.
What do you think? Will the 37629 be a more valued item than the Blue Bird in the future?

Just got an email from my dealer that my Blue Bird is in stock! I´ve checked my account and can´t find it under "not in stock" nor "ready for shipment" and the "sent order" doesn´t work so it´s propably on it´s way already!

I´ve found alot of Internet-sites that says it´s sold out.
