I have a layout with old M-tracks from Märklin and my loks have diff, kinds of decoders - most with New Motorola - and I use an IntelliBox.

I have made the brake modul

http://www.bogobit.de/bremsmodul/classic_v1

and it works fine.

I have looked at

http://www.merg.org.uk/resource....htm#Filesfordownloading

(scroll down to "Accessory decoder (ACC2)")

but can't get contact to someone using it - so I don't dare to implement it.

Do some of you have a running system you want to share with me ?

I would recommend you to have a look at Sven Brandt pages if you want to make a decoder, for what he proposes is far superior to many products...

Many people already use his turntable optic decoder for 7286 and I am about to make my turnouts use his system, and surely s88 too.

Hi kSor,

Why not use a k83?
You can see a diagram here: http://members.ozemail.com.au/~...stew/rms/pdf/k83_sch.pdf

It's possible to feed the turnouts with their own transfo : just a diode to add or so.

But I fully agree that model train is a good opportunity to improve one's own knowledge in electronic.
