Anyone know the Seuthe kit number for the 39022 loco?
I know its a Marklin 72270, but with the Seuthe you get the syringe and small bottle of fluid as well - a better buy methinks!?
(My 39022 has been on back order at LOKSHOP many months now,but I believe the next batch is SOON to be released by M).....well I hope so...RollEyes RollEyes

Edit: I was on the wrong track.
Märklin 72270 is Seuthe #20.

Märklin 7226 is Seuthe #10.
Some dealers also have #10E - same smoke generator, but without syringe and other accessories. Maybe the best buy once you have enough syringes.

Tom

I have no idea about the smoke unit but it is a great model. The only issue I have is that I don't get any break sounds, maybe I need to check with my dealer if it is a configuration issue?

You might also like to know that 39022 is currently available for reservation for 299,99€ at http://www.modellbahnshop-lippe.com.

Cheers,
Osku

Operating sounds must be on, leave the squealing brake function off, and brake really hard (full speed to 0 in a moment).

I see, thanks for the info. I guess this is typical for 39022 as 39230 squels at relatively low speeds (nice when you bring the train to a stop at a station) and 39643 squeals almost every time you brake.

Thanks so much Tom and Osku - so now the big question, has anyone actually fitted the smoke unit to the 39022?? I dread having to "open her up", as I know some models can be quite tricky when trying to put everything back together again...!
My 39302 really has very good brake squealing (the blue diesel)even from "low" speeds; my 39230 needs to run from a "medium" speed before the brakes squeal tho!
My 39022 has been on order from Lokshop since mid-July, and Marklin assures me that November will be the delivery date - we will see....price is 301 Euro at Lokshop...
thanks guys, Joe
