Just to show my lack of Knowledge , What is a Hamo Loco.
I have seen some ina reference Site and some were also DC.

NOt wearing the Pink Pinny, which is hard to see and now I have a white Pinny which also is hard to see against MY pure white Skin Still have 2 new shiny tin Hips that is badly in Need of Repair matching rusting tin shoulders
and a hose pipe on the aorta

Hi Nev,

Originally HAMO meant "Alfred Hannemann Modellbau", Nuremberg, Germany. Founded in 1952 HAMO produced streetcars and two regular H0 Models (V 160.0 and a V80). In 1964 the company was bought by Marklin. Serious rumours say that Marklin bought the company to have a site to produce "N"-gauge Marklin. But this was never realized.

So in 1965 a special HAMO- collectors-H0-series was started. All AC-models. ( E 18, E44, Luxemburg- Nohab and Austrian E 94.) This ended 1966.

But from 1966 the HAMO-brand was used for DC-models produced by Marklin (until 1997).
