I strongly disagree!!!! By the way: what are you trying to achieve with a topic like this one? I hope (at least for their wallets) that everyone has some models they do not wish to have. |

Here here- no beer in the fridge is truly a bad thing! I suppose a volcano erupting under my chair or the moon falling my head isn't so swell either... (Mental note: if visiting Hawaii, do not sit in a chair on top of volcano to avoid said eruption- I'll have to work on the moon one...)

Hi friends, I have thought about that, and I think you are right: vulcanos are very rare here, and when the moon comes down, it will certainly happen in Hollywood, not here . But no cold beer, my goodness, if that ever happens: breweries could go bankrupt, electricity could have a black out, or it's simply the supermarket which is closed [:0][:0][:0] Hans Martin

Hi all,
My non-wish list is very simple: as a modeller, I wish no more compromising by Märklin on the correct 1:87 scale length of coaches or locomotives in order to comply with the toy-train R1 or R2 curves! Greetings,
Armando |

Era III, IV, V stuff. Good thing too, my wallet isn't surviving my Era I & II wishlist, let alone if it got expanded to into other Eras or countries. Ira |

Then Marklin will no longer issue all those beer cars. That would be the true tragedy. Troy |

Thomas, Percy, Flying Pig, Rail Zeppelin, Dud BR44/BR50 speakers, anything Danish, French, Belguim, Italian (sorry guys from those countries) (although maybe some OBB and US is OK, and certainly some Swiss), anything Era I or II, and another Fernando Alonso F1 World Championship are all definitely on my 'not wanted' list.

hm.. Moastly I do not need those dutch yellow locomotives...they really do not fit in the mountains... Besides that, even if english and scandinavian trains are beautiful, I do not think I could ever use them.. Also american and Canadian trains..sorry guys but I certainly do not want them on my swiss layout... Also no African trains...and better no trains which are too commercial..

My heart broke when I read this... I guess I am one of the few american's who likes Marklin's quality and am willing to export my USD instead of buying the 'lesser quality' US manufactured models. Hard part to get over is the couplers tho... The fact that Marklin does not make a lot of US models just makes it that much more of a tease. Of course, take all of this with a grain of salt, I drive a Honda... |

Even though I'm in the US: no more US locomotives or cars.
While it might be in Marklin's best interest to capture more of the US market, I'm into Marklin because it focuses on mostly German, and to a lesser degree Swiss, trains. That stated, of course, I couldn't resist the F7 Santa Fe with streamlined cars, the UP PA1 and the Pacific refrigerator cars. But, so far I've stopped any inclinations to buy the Big Boy or GG1s.
I'd especially do away with the French trains as well and can't believe the French/Belgium TEE trains in the 2007 line-up...ugh...although the price of the passenger cars is tempting. French trains from Marklin is as dumb as production of British trains. I do like anything from Norway, given the awesome challenges of terrain and extreme temperatures. So, a yellow NOHAB with plows on each end is great for me and I believe it will be among the absolute best sellers for Marklin in 2007.
Related to what I don't want is any space in the Marklin Insider magazine dedicated to them showing us all these cars produced for private companies that are not even available. This is just filler in the hopes that you too will issue Marklin cars at some event...not the culture I see in any companies outside of a subset of companies in Germany.
Lastly, I don't want any flying pigs running around my layout!

I do confess in liking a NOHAB or two, so maybe I could find room for them..........one day in the future. Maybe those fabulous pictures that Alberto posts has something to do with it....
