One of my priorities for 2024 was to replace all Roco leashes with new Märklin ones.

In 2025 I decided to replace all old factory installed ESU v2 and v3 decoders with mLD3/mSD3 ThumpUp

So, less buying new things and more taking care of what we already have.

I successfully converted a Start-Up DCC crane to two-rail + NEM,

I successfully designed a modular standard (after a couple false starts).

A LUCK300 baseboard.

I converted some of my childhood models to modern DCC + NEM standards, got a controller, played with trains, played with cranes, converted a Marklin BB 22200 to 2-rail (just need to add a decoder) and I put a camera into a train before blowing it up!

Dear All -

Wireless layout controller hub that works with Gleisbox only (viz. no MS2/CS2/CS3), usable/tested with Rocrail, JMRI and BTrain.

Dear All -

If I may be so bold (and tedious) as to nominate another project that warrants recognition this year, I would endorsethis modification of a BR89 starter set loco for recognition. Full disclosure: I have one, and imagined doing this but could not fathom how to do it.
