In 1939 Märklin introduced New Kupplungen (Bügelkupplungen) and supplied 360 ZK for connection between the two, because both types were still produced. 360 ZK are rare and besisdes, they fit only to early version of Bügelkupplung. Have you ever tried to improvise based on 360 ZK ? Its left side (convex plate fitting Klauenkupplung looks easy to make, as well as the main connection). But how to make the opposite side fitting Bügelkupplung, based again on 360 ZK ? Have you ever tried to make it ? If so, a drawing or an image would be much appreciated. Thanks

1939, way before my time or any of my collection. I wonder if it could be fashioned out of sheet tin or copper - a metal a bit easier to cut and lighter than steel or pot metal.

It's pressed in a die form out of at least 18 gauge sheet steel. The notches were cut out first when flat by a shearing die.
