Hello. Hope you are well. That is a great locomotive, I have 88203 which is very similar. I am not certain if there is a simple solution to get these parts. It is likely you will not be able to purchase just one. I looked up the parts on this model and it may be the part number has changed but would still work on yours. Here is the parts list for 88203. Number 9 is the wheel set. https://static.maerklin....48531dff6b1544449774.pdfMarklin shows this part as available but also includes the side frame. See part position 9. Scroll down a bit. I notice the post support structure which holds the wheel set are the same as found on models up to 88207. I think this might be a good sign. https://www.maerklinshop...rds=88203&iBrandId=1I have seen Marklin Mini Club parts for sale on eBay. I would think if available from Marklin you or any dealer could order this part for you should you decide. I have ordered directly from Marklin in the past but you may want to contact them prior to placing an order since there may be a question about this being the correct part. Current tariff rules should be considered. If you want to contact some eBay parts sellers please let me know, I have the user names. I have noticed Marklin tends to combine several parts and sell them under a new part number. In this case the wheel set and side frame are sold together. If you decide to make this purchase you might consider purchasing enough to replace the four drive wheels. Best wishes with this let us know how this works out for you. I know how hard it is to lose or damage a critical part and then not be able to replace it. Take good care. Hope I helped, but remember there is nothing easy about Z. Zme

Thanks so much !1 yes the parts look the same and maybe it's okay to replace the whole truck. Do you have ebay parts seller handles? All I saw was parts for HO so that didn't fly...

Hi. For most older parts replacement I always try Chet first.
Marklinpro
From Italy you will get it if he has it. Shipping is slightly less than other EU sellers. Tariffs might be a concern. I have used this seller.
Coccodrillo114
From US
Eckert-engineering-does-Marklin
I have not used this seller. Good reviews. Has z parts.
Zscalehobo. FromUS.
Hope this helps

I have run out of options :-( I'm surprised that no-one has suggested tyou get in contact with z scale hobo who is a bit of an authority on all things Z Scale Stateside and also carries and has access to spares, I believe. (I'm in the UK, so have't had any dealings myself, but his name often crops up here.) I strongly suspect (though have no direct proof) that most of the drive wheels from bogie locomotives are the same. (There are a few exceptions which use different arrangements, but what's found in 88203 etc is by far the most common.) Certainly visually comparing the wheels from my 88203 and 88780 they look identical. I have a pair of axles for 88780 so if you have no luck elsewhere let me know and I'd be happy to post them over to you, if you can stand the wait for them to arrive. Cheers Chris

Thanks Chris,
the wheel sets look to be the same but I don't fully trust the images there. Still waiting for a response from Maerklin, but yes, I might contact Frank Daniels and see what he might have to say
Best,
