Could somebody advice how to install the main signal(76493) into the Mobile station correctly by using the signal decoder of the signal. I have tried that but the signal just shows all of its tree aspects(hp0, hp1 and hp2) at the same time even though the relay of the signal decoder ”clicks” when I press the red/green buttons of the Mobile station. I have used DIP switches to program the signal and set the address to 27 according to the Märklin manual. I switched DIP switches 1, 2, 4, and 5 to the 'on' position. What could be the reason for this kind of problem?

The dip switches override mfx I think. Watch the Model train fun guy program it on YouTube. I have a CS 3, so it's a little different from the MS 2. I think after he set the switches in dcc he changed the protocol back to mfx, but it's been too long to recall.

Your signal have two adresses.
The first are main while the second are underlaying adress which cannot be change.
When you set your signal at adress 27, the underlaying adress are 28.
You can see it at the keyboard character window when there are standing 27 on the left and 28 in the right.

The mfx protocol in the digital signal cannot been register with the MS2.
Also same with the m83/m84.
Just only MM or DCC protocol can be use by add manually.
