Had been looking how to make scrap metal loads for DB gondolas and I ran into this SJ three car set #46899. They are obviously ex-DB gondolas in "scrap metal duty" in the SJ.

Usually, gondolas used for scrap metal are past their prime anyway.

What drew me to this set was that it included a nice l looking scrap metal load!

This set is perfect and to convert back tot he DB, you just need to add post 1994 DB decal!
These loads are removable, so can serve as loads to other gondolas of the same type.
Will try to post an image. Just placed the decal and gave the cars a light dusting in the trucks and lower areas. Very happy with these cars...
