Hiii

I am a newbie in this field and bought my father "Marklin Train Model 3134" via Ebay without it transformer
I would like to know what transformer is compatibility with it.

I am not up on my Israel data, but I think that the country uses the same electrical standards as in Europe (230VAC)

You should be looking for the 66470 transformer (230VAC 32WA) for analog operation. You may need an adapter to use with existing household sockets

You did not state whether you had Maerklin tracks as this locomotive requires 3 rail track to run

There are two Marklin items using the item number 3134 - one is a CFL Nohab loco from the 1980's, the other is a starter set from the 1960's containing a blue E41 loco and 3 passenger coaches and an oval of M track (I have one of these sets myself). I presume the OP has the set.

A 6647 transformer would also be OK but you would have to buy one 2nd hand most likely off ebay, as the 66470 can be somewhat horrifically expensive.

Avoid at all costs any of the blue metal case transformers such as 280A as these are old and will most likely present an electrocution hazard if they haven't been checked by an electrician.
