Hello

Hoping someone can assist me. I was running today a Roco 79096 for only the second time and noted that the cab lighting seems to have an issue that appears decoder-related. In short, when the relevant function key on my ms2 is pressed, the cabin light comes on, but once I stop pressing the button key, the light shuts down ie it will not stay on. I've reset the loc's factory settings and also re-registered it a few time, but to no avail. Was wondering if anyone may know of the issue and how it could be remedied.

Many thanks

Cameron

It sounds like the function icon setting is set to momentary or the shortest time. I have never tried to change it in the MS 2. On the CS 3, you edit the locomotive and select the icon you want to edit. It turns blue. a box appears with the duration time and or the stay on contact. After checking the boxes desired, you can test the function. If satisfied, you click the ok box and exit the edit menus.

Thank you, I wasn't aware of this MS 2 programming function but have found online instructions.
