Hello! I am a first-time user/member, and I need some help with a moron-level question. Assuming the old-timers are not as moronic as I am, the question is this: How do I release the pantograph on an E40 (came with Starter Set 29985) from the locked-down position? I do not want to damage the pantograph -- it looks pretty delicate. I know there must be an easy way to do this, but it is not apparent at the moment, so plase help!

Touch it lightly on the very outside left and right with each hand respectively. Lift both hands, slowly, so you will lift the panto as well.

There will be a point when you will think: hold it, it might break, but go on, it will then unfold itself.

Do not apply a weightlifters' raw power though, it IS possible even for nine year old children !!!

Regards,

Hans

If somebody has a question, I recommend we wait for answers until alberto our chief photographer has shown his pics or videos, this would safe a lot of written answers !!!

Wonderful, really great !!!! biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Thank you, Ira. That good old UH-1 looks real familiar. Not many still flying -- The Md. ARNG just retired its last one, sad to say.

Fred- There are still a few around in use in the Army as Medevac. As long they are around I'll be a happy camper.
