I wish a Very Merry Christmas to all of my friends on this forum.
You have helped me solve problems, informed me, helped in making tough decisions and keep my trains rolling.
And let's not forget to thank our webmaster Juhan, for he is truly the founder of our Marklin feast.
Merry Christmas to all. |
Regards,
Jim
I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time. |

and a Merry Christmas to all from me as well. Thankfully as my roster falls, I have Xmas off with the family but back to work on 29/12. Maybe one more year to retirement and fulltime Marklinista? We shall see - big crossroads ahead - lots of financial calculations to do. I'd hate to run out of $$$$ for new locos!!! |

Merry Christmas from the West Coast of Western Australia, come and join me in the summer heat of 40° C and enjoy a few BBQ flies, red back spiders and charcoaled ring octopus, all deadly when you get in contact with it., besides that swim in the Indian Ocean and get bitten by a Great White Shark or little Stingers., We've decided to stay at relatives over Christmas and eat their delicious food and all we needed is to get back home and go to sleep for the next Smorgasbord, alcohol wasn't on the agenda from the effects from the day before., otherwise everything went smoothly, no Christmas tree or decorations, no turkey or ham, chicken or pork, just cooked prawns, spicy baked Pumpkin (our own) with garlic and fried onions, baked potatoes with bacon onions and cream, this is how we celebrate Christmas by giving Christmas presents such as Cadbury Chocolate favoured and cashew nuts to our loved ones.
this Christmas I've spend a bit of money on trains for my wife, she doesn't know it yet, most probably she will give them back to me, 3 locos and quite a few Märklin freight carriages., all from South Australia., if you don't hear from me in the next week you know I'm in the dog house
Have a Happy New Year from us
John |

Hi John, Merry Christmas to you and your family as well. I remember back in the mid 90s visiting Mother-in-Law who was living in Perth at that point, and on NY day we went to the beach house of some friends on theirs. I recall looking out over the Indian Ocean, clear sky, blazing sun, while the news on TV was harking on about Hogmanay in Edinburgh with a fair dose of snow around. The contrast wasn't lost on me.

Hope you are all having or have had a good day. Got phone call from our pal Nev who is doing fine and still switching on the dark suckers. Time now to have a run on the track with some new coaches from Santa and a wee glass of the water of life. Better half doing the feast still not sure much these coaches cost. Enjoy the rest of the day. |
Take care I like Marklin and will defend the worlds greatest model rail manufacturer. |

Heh Heh Heh, obviously Flash Dave hasn't seen my post in the other "Merry Christmas" thread else he would have hidden all the stocks! Merry Christmas and happy new year to all.
Made a small donation, I've no idea what appropriate, you may be able to put it towards a chocolate biscuit once the NZD is converted to Euros and all the middle men clip the ticket in between.
I enjoy the forum immensely all though I contribute little, sorry.
Kind regards Graham.
