Hello All,

I would like to control the crane 7501 from Maerklin with a CS3 using an m84 decoder. Is that possible, and if so, how?

Greetings

You might be able to turn the lights on and off, and the motor, but not reverse directions of the boom or the rotation, nor vary the speed. A retrofit decoder was made for it, and I think it was blue. ESU deciders are blue. I bet they have one that will work.

Hi Uli! You will need outputs from both a m83 (k83) and a m84 (k84) decoder, according to the instructions here. It’s a Danish forum, but you may google translate.
