The great news is that Märklin comes with a new SBB Ce 6/8 III. But I wonder, what could possibly be new as compared to the 55681, which to me looks to be a rather well done model? What does “new tooling” mean? “Completely new tooling constructed of die-cast zinc and including separately applied parts of centrifugal cast brass.” vs “Completely new tooling constructed of die-cast zinc and including separately applied parts of centrifugal cast brass.” ..are equal? Road number 14311 is coming: https://www.maerklin.de/...ts/details/article/55683Road number 14305 is the up to now newest: https://www.maerklin.de/...ts/details/article/55681I have several krokis books and 14311 I can only find in the list of all. I have found no photos. Whereas the 14305 is still running. I have also not found any pictures in SBB at Wikipedia Commons, as for example here: https://commons.wikimedi...=ce+6%2F8+iii&title=

If anybody buys it it would have been very nice to receive a photo, which I could include in my blog (with proper reference to the photographer). Now: delivery March 2024. By the way, info about the Dead Man's Switch is not updated on Märklin's url. Maybe they forgot.
