Maerklin has announced a new SBB Re 6/6 (37328) as a Maerklin 2023 Fall New Item.

While this is an interesting new model, I would have preferred to see a SBB Cargo Re 420 or 430 or a Re 4/4III in either red or green as none of these have been produced by Maerklin to date. As far as Re 6/6 models, I would have preferred to see a model of one of the locomotives 11606-11613 which were assigned to SBB Passenger Division between 1999 and 2003 as I would love to have a locomotive to run with Era V passenger trains other than my Re 4/4IIs or Re 460s.

I hope that we will see a Re 420 or Re 430 eventually.
