I got myself a wonderful set of LS models orient express cars, only problem they are not AC and LS models does not answer my questions and Modellbaun-lippe which is always helpful as not found AC wheels

Any help with AC wheels for Ls Models would be appreciated.

https://lsmodels.eu/en/ contact them direct. But why do you need to change the wheels? There are a number of conductive paints which should be able to bridge the insulation of the wheels. Might be cheaper to try that first.

I have contacted them they did not respond.

About the paint please enlighten me, I have never use them for that purpose???? Sound like a great idea but how do you gap the insulated section with only paint?

Sometimes it takes people a while to reply. But I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/B...n%2Caps%2C184&sr=8-3 . Have not used it yet as I only have one car that is DC and have no problem with it on my layout. Cheap enough to try.

The other option is reed switches but they are kind of a pain. Also, your loco is surely AC and will activate whatever you want. It is just a matter of timing the action.

Hi, I have some lsm wagons. All of which I swap out the wheels with just Marklin wagon wheels with no problems 👍 maybe there coaches will be as easy 🤔
Dan
See here- all run wheel. The two on the tail end of the freight are Ferry vans from them. There not only really lovely models but run very well with no wobbling

Try Huenerbein (Aachen) or Eyro (Interlaken) for parts
