Well, Just my opinion only....in a "forced perspective" view, it would probably be okay at the front of the layout where the trains would then be "forced" in perspective. However, it may overwhelm if placed behind the trains/structures/et al. Just my thoughts. It is pretty close though!Mellow

If the truck is in the right scenery it will be ok.

Put a bigger tree near it or larger building. A darker colour vehicle will look a bit smaller.

Oh surely it will go well. Sp would a 1/72 scale truck, and 15 sizes larger than 1/87. 1/80 is only 7 sizes smaller. I've not ever seen one.

A 1:80 lorry would look OK beside a Märklin 1:80 train like Der Adler.

But a bus or long lorry in 1:80 might look odd beside a coach that is only 1:120 or 1:140 in length scale. So take care when placing such a lorry on the layout. It might be good to have the larger models close to the viewer.
