Bonjour,

Cordialement,
Pierre Moulin

Good morning,

I run the REE Models cars on my 3-track Märklin C-track network and I see derailments on the switches and in particular the right switches in the deviated position. The problem exists both by pulling and by pushing.
According to my analysis, the wheel of the boggie comes bumping on the needle core.
With Roco’s capitol cars I don’t have that problem.
The main difference comes from the diameter of the 12mm collar at REE for 14mm at Roco.

I would like to try with Märklin axles but where to find references with precise ribs?

Does anyone know about the problem and a possible solution.

Sincerely,
Pierre Moulin

Post #5 in this German Stummiforum thread shows the E700150 dimensions:

For comparison, the Fleischmann art. 6560 AC wheel dimensions:

I once faced a similar problem with an US-American "dummy" locomotive model by Athearn. At that time I successfully consulted a local Märklin dealer, who had a collection of thousands of H0 gauge wheels. He measured the Athearn ones (12 mm diameter) and tried Brawa, Roco and Märklin sets until finally Mabar of Spain 11.5 mm diameter wheels matched (and worked on Märklin C track).

Then, there is this German gentleman who markets “self-made” AC wheel sets “en gros” for various sizes and makes. Even though his price list doesn’t mention it, it seems as if he is shipping abroad:

I have a few Marklin cars that derail as well on a right turnout.

I have ordered the Fleischmann at besserpreis.
L'atelier du train en France give the same dimensions than besserepreis

May be it is a long time since my first postCursing but i wish to share the solution:

REE modeles provide the "AC Marklin 3 rails roues for Wagons à bogies" ref XB25308 and they works fineLaugh
