Marklin_Store_Munchen_Pic1.jpgMarklin_Store_Munchen_Pic2.jpgVisited Munchen, Germany three weeks ago and found out that the Marklin Store Munchen has moved from the Karstadt department store, near the Muenchen Hauptbahnhof (Main train station) to a new location, literally, downstairs from the Gleiss 11 Modelleeisenbahn Gmbh store on track 11 at the train station.
The new address is: Bayernstr. 22, 80335 Munchen. It seems that the store moved recently, as the employees were installing new cabinets. The place has a good selection of new and used Marklin merchandise.

I loved visiting the Karstadt store; it's the reason I always stay somewhere near the Hbhf (but my wife thinks it's because it's convenient for our travels ;-) ).

Is the Gleiss 11 store still open, or are they combining?

I deleted the duplicate post you made in the 'Small Scale' forum (why small scale??) and have moved this post from 'I Want to Buy' to the 'General MRR' forum.

If I remember correctly, the post in the "small scale" section also included what second hand Z items they had.

Gleis 11 store is still in the same location, next to track 11. Here is their business card:

Great that there are shops in Europe next to train stations! Easy to visit when traveling by trains. This one is close to Munich old town too.
