Hi all, I need to touch up some wheels on my early DB locos and need to know the correct, or closest commercially available paint. Both my new Brawa V36 and old Fleischmann BR86 locos appear to be the same darkish flat red colour and looks the same as Marklin, I think they all use the same colour. I read on here a while back that the Humbrol 19 enamel bright red was correct but must have been for very old marklin locos because its too bright and needs to be matt. I found the answer on Stummi forums. It is RAL 3002 and available from Weinert 2611. For RAL 3002 there appears to be Revell 32136 (No. 36) Carmine Red. |
