Good morning Marklin family,

I am still new to Marklin and have a CS2. Does the Viessmann 5213 decoder work for controlling Marklin turnouts. I tried to connect but the turnout does not respond.

When I connect the turnout with the manual switch controller it works. So the issue is not with the turnout motor.

Thanks

The 5213 decoder is like the k84 decoder, not like the k83 decoder used for solenoids.
Viessmann 5211 is what you need for solenoids.
5213 can be used, but requires a different wiring. Better use the 5213 to control lights or other devices on your layout.
Regards
Tom
