Does the Viessmann 5213 decoder work for controlling Marklin turnouts. I tried to connect but the turnout does not respond. When I connect the turnout with the manual switch controller it works. So the issue is not with the turnout motor. Thanks Christo Swanepoel

Joined: 16/02/2004(UTC) Posts: 15,265 Location: DE-NW		The 5213 decoder is like the k84 decoder, not like the k83 decoder used for solenoids. Viessmann 5211 is what you need for solenoids. 5213 can be used, but requires a different wiring. Better use the 5213 to control lights or other devices on your layout.
