I was perusing Ebay and can across the listing for an Electrotren car that has 3 working tail lights. What I found interesting is that it appears that a piece of cloth has been glued to the roof. My guess is this is done to simulate a canvas material. No being very familiar with Electrotren products I was wondering if this is indeed factory applied on done by a creative modeller? Hi Chuck,
If you google the item brand and name and look into images, you will find several examples of this item. This are old Electrotren wagons probably from the 60-70 and actually the different images I have looked all have the fabric like glued to the roof. Electrotren used to have very nice details in their product back when they used to be made in Spain. Today Electrotren belongs to Hornby and all is made in China, and it is not the same any more.
Regards
Eduardo
