In a train set I purchased today was a box of track.

Some of it is genuine solid center rail Märklin M track... but when I picked some pieces up I found it was a very well made wooden track with solid rail attached. They look just like Märklin M-Track pieces. Looks like they were machined out of oak.

Here is a picture:

They join onto M-Track and clearly the set was used with these functional tracks....

Anyone know who made these tracks, when, where?

If it helps date these, the set included a 1947 ES 800, a 3024 from 1959, a CM800 (1953-1956) and an unknown Liliput 0-6-0 tank loco...

It appears that the tracks with a wooden roadbed are in fact Liliput made in the 1950s....
