I have bought an ESU Lokpilot V4 for interior lighting in pessenger car.
I have tried to set it up with my Marklin Mobile Station, and i cant get contact with my lokpilot from the mobile station.

Is there someone here that know how i can get contact with my lokpilot from my Mobile station?

Are you talking about Mobile 1 or 2, you may have overspend a bit buying a lokpilot 4 and not an FX decoder which is a lot cheaper,..all ESU decoders when new have the address 3 and so far I'm aware there is no automatic recognition regarding a lokpilot V 4 decoder, I think you have to manually register the decoder

The loco decoder not connected to a motor could
be the problem as to why the MS doesn't
see it. Programming has to be done manually
unless it is an MFX / M4 decoder

Sorry, I meant Lokpilot Fx V4.0. It is the Mobile Station 2.

You need a load connected to the decoder outputs to make DCC programming work.
Is anything connected to the decoder? If yes, set it up as DCC with address 3 in the MS2 and turn on F1 through F4.
