Hello,
Am new to Marklin digital, I just bought MS2, M84 and 75491 turnout actuator for my learning. I did set the M84 with dip switch on no.1 (as MM) and I can switch on and off from MS2. How to connect the 75491 turnout actuator with M84 so that I can control the movement from MS2, is that possible? I have an old 7072 switch, when I connect 75491 with 7072, the 75491 is working. I have been searching from google, could not find any info. Appreciate very much your help. Sorry if this questions is just basic digital setting.
Thank you,
Rgds,Nugroho Setiabudi

Hi, Welcome to the forum.
The M83 decoder is made for solenoids like turnouts (short pulses). The M84 decoder is made for items that need a continuous current like lamps.
I'm not sure if an M84 in Mode 1 can be used for turnouts. It is safer and cheaper to use an M83 for that purpose. |
