Look at these LED street lights from E-bay, less than a dollar each and the effect is brilliant

Hi Roger
Indeed you can find a lot on ebay.

I don't mean to criticize in any way but it seems to me:
- the light you use is very blue and you should better use warm white color
- the LED form you use is very large.

Now you can find very tiny LEDs with enameled wire like these ones:
https://www.ebay.de/itm/SMD-LED-...9a9b40c5bc9f5e9cc73cfb9d
You can pick the color you want but must add a resistor

In similar casing you may find dual color LEDs for locos like this one

Cheers

Jean

I use plenty of these with small LEDs, try and get them 'warm white'. I have a separate 3.5v circuit for them.

All from China and cheap. They are not good at keeping the colours of the cables standardised.......

a small wash of acrylic paint warms up LEDs easily.

Thanks, but I like the light it gives off. I looked at your links, the same is available on Ebay from China at a fraction of the cost. Here is the link: https://www.ebay.com.au/...c0ee86fff4934e%7Ciid%3A1
