I have just installed the new #60906 decoder in Marklin 3085 steam lok. I left the motor as is, and installed the new decoder according to the wiring diagram. The lok grows when turned on, it tries to move the lok a little then it stops. Non of the functions seem to work. Not sure what I have done, any help would be great.

Hi It looks very much like a wiring error Please double check with the user's manual here https://static.maerklin....50577f20411591099737.pdf- Brown= Frame ground and rails) - Red= slider - green = Motor inductor 1 Attention NOT the motor brush - blue= Motor inductor 2 Attention NOT the motor brush - black = Motor collector (not the one connected to the inductor coils) through the choke - grey and yellow= front and rear headlights Make sure all previously-existing-motor-connections have been removed except: the choke and the inductor to one brush holder connection.
