Hi.
All now run correctly and indeed, after some hours of proudnessBlushing , I need to improve my network!
Do somebody among you have some experience to use 74462 and 74466 Marklin decoders for switches and parameters possible for other kind of signals than German?
Thank you for your attention and responses (if possible)BigGrin

Hi Garoux
The switch decoders are great for carpet trains but absolutely not for permanent layouts
The reasons are:
- it is sometimes needed to fix a switch (the motor or its decoder) and when this is on a lower or intermediate level accessibility is bad.
- using a decoder such as 60832 is cheaper
- it also allows to feed the switch decoders with a separate line and power supply
- adding a decoder under a double switch 24624 means adding a lot of cables under the unit which may jam the points (ie prevent them from travelling fully)
Cheers
Jean

Hi JohnJean!
I was dreaming about the time where I will buy a station CS3 or other expensive tool with just a screen to change switch and signal.
really thank you for this quick and usefull response. In addition, 60832 seems to give connexions for future signals no?
My usual seller told me the same advice but I not understood.
Sincèrement merci
Regards
AlainBigGrin

I believe you mean 60842 which allows to drive 4 simple light signals and control 4 stop sections or 8 street light sections
