It resembles the Ste Catherine crossing in Montreal Canada
Look at the Montreal gazette picture here:

I was during the installation in early 1900's I think.
At the time track engineers were designing triple and quadruple switches

Had a look at the photo again - it is amazing symmetrical across the vertical centreline! Me thinks there is some smoke and mirrors involved, at least the mirror part!

You are right Harry. I think it is the Chicago one shown by Johnjean done as 2 reverse images placed together. Good spotting. I didn't have much of a look when I first saw it. I remember the caption on it being the elevated railway in Chicago but now can't recall where I found it..
