Does anybody know a good source of small Marklin parts, Screws, brushes, etc in the USA? Right now, it is some screws (785070).

Plenty on Ebay, but all from Europe. A $1.50 part plus $44 shipping. On Ebay sellers seem only to ship insured, tracked, air express, etc. No dull boring and cheap mail.

Yeah, I use them, but they do not always have what I need (like 785070 screws). Another source?

Did you try Marklin USA?

If not, try Schweickhardt, Lippe or Kieskemper in Germany and specify that the item be sent Briefpost (less than 12 EUR)

I might have some but it is hard to say since they are not bagged. What is it for? Where does it go?

How many do you need?

Also, so you don't have to post your address, you can contact me at:

Thanks

Rick

If Rick can't help you try Helmuts Hobbies in Virginia. I've had good luck with Scott in the past obtaining parts. Good luck!

Andrew at AC Euro trains in Stockton has a pretty good supply of parts. I use him pretty much exclusively

Phone: 209-222-8022

I confirmed with him that he does have the 785070 screws

In the past I’ve used AJCKIDS and RJFTRAINS for parts. No guarantees that they’ll have what you need in stock but they have been willing to order for me. And sometimes it does take a couple of months but that’s the nature of using a foreign manufacturer.

Thanks All. AJC & RJFTRAINS were plan A and B.

I will try Schweickhardt, Lippe or Kieskemper in Germany and specify that the item be sent Briefpost (less than 12 EUR) will be next. Maybe that will let me use the mail!
