The "C" Table pattern was designed to fit the 13' room width, using 248 pieces of "C" Track. Florida on the right, Germany on the left to match the Marklin Locomotives and Cars, 1/2 German and 1/2 USA.
Simple double oval for flat FLA. For contrast, mountain terrain and 'folded arms' pattern for Germany. Intercontinental Bridge on top edge connects the two! BigGrin
SCARM Software was essential in planning this track layout. I sketched it with Marklin Template in 1st draft, wish I had SCRAM from the start. They employ many Windows conventions and keystrokes like Control C for copy and V for paste. Drag and drop really helps.

In a few places the program would not [or I could not] replicate curve patterns that, in reality, worked on the boards. Would be great to have an accurate 'as built' plan but so far they don't match. Huh

3-D graphics help show the future topo and water features in addition to the grades and lay of the trackage. Slope and Grading plan is next and SCRAM will assist in this, showing green for low, yellow for medium and red for +4% grades. We'll see.

I'd appreciate a few tips on locations to place the Track Power connections. Haven't gotten that far yet. Running this with Mobile Station 3 control.

For lighting, I plan to use an old 601 transformer w/ speed control rheostat as a dimmer for some lights. The other power terminals would run the fixed lights.

Any assistance or advice is most welcome! Hope the SCARM pdf image shows.
Regards,
Rick
