All, I have a Marklin 3671, an old digital version of the ICE 2 that i have not run forever. When driving with the CS2 it runs/goes in both directions and changes over lighting with the direction change. While running one engine/motor makes a buzz or loud hum (410 001-2) and the other engine/motor (410 002-0) appears not to run and makes no noise. If I lift the nose of the engine on one end the powered truck is running like crazy and on the on the other end nothing is moving. If i hook up to an analog transformer, I get the same result with one engine runs and the other does not. On this powered car set, the can motor connects to a cardan shaft and then a powered truck with internal gears. Should i remove the powered trucks and check for hardened oil in the gear box (getriebegehause) and clean them? Any ideas would be helpful Sad
Thanks, Thom

Hi Thom
Yes, you should check if the rear unit is "frozen" but check also the conducting couplers for damage, bent contacts or loose wires
Cheers
