Hi All

I am looking at my new DB Autozug car transporter and I am very pleased with the details and the cars. It comes with what looks like black triangular wheel blocks.

Does any body use the wheel blocks, if so are they stuck in blocks of 4 or separately under each wheel ?

I can find no instructions or pictures of these blocks in use.

thanks

Tim

I don’t know if this helps, but here is a prototype photo showing how rods were used for securing automobiles during transit on the Autozug.

The question of wheel chocks has been discussed extensively in a previous thread You can search for "chock" and it should bring it up. But simply, the wheel chocks go in front of the front wheels and behind the back wheels of each vehicle. I can't see the necessary detail from your picture but in other sets there are groves in the surface the vehicles sit on and slight tabs on the bottom of the chocks which set into the grooves. That holds the chocks in place and the chocks hold the vehicles in place. If you look at the plastic piece that has the chocks you will find eight sets of four chocks and you have eight vehicles.
